About Gentry Elementary

Gentry Elementary School has served students since 2003 and is named after Bonnie Gentry. Our campus serves approximately 615 students and 52 teachers. Gentry Elementary proudly belongs to the Berry Middle School and John Horn High School feeder pattern.

Our mission at Gentry Elementary is to ensure that every student receives high-quality educational experiences through engaging teaching strategies that also develop social and emotional skill sets needed for future success.

We offer Cub Clubs for students in all grade levels and have a house system to encourage excellence in behavior and work.

We are Gentry Proud!

Our Principal

HB3 Board Goals

HB3 requires school boards to adopt detailed plans developed by their management teams that achieve goals in two key areas:

  1. Early childhood literacy and mathematics (EC-LM ) proficiency
  2. College, career, and military readiness (CCMR)

School boards must review the progress of each plan at least annually at a public meeting. These goals will be posted on the district website for the district level goals and on each campus website for the campus level goals once approved. The Board of Trustees approved these goals at the May 9, 2022, meeting. To view a downloadable, printable document containing these goals, click on the following button.
